What to Expect from Perform 4 Purpose Events:
Application Process:
Applications are reviewed by the Perform 4 Purpose Board of Directors in the order that they are received. If you are chosen as a beneficiary of a Perform 4 Purpose Fundraising Event, you will be notified by the committee, and a meeting will be set up with you to discuss the process of organizing an event in your honor. Applications for events honoring organizations may be accessed through our "Fundraising Events" page.
Planning of Event:
Perform 4 Purpose will work with the members of the organization in organizing the event.
Venue for Event:
The venue for the event will be agreed upon by the event committee members. Venues where Perform 4 Purpose Events have been held in the past include:

Composition of Event:
Perform 4 Purpose Events feature artistic performances by both students and professional performers as the event entertainment. This may include, but is not limited to, musicians, dancers, and actors. The performers for Perform 4 Purpose Events are compiled by the Perform 4 Purpose Program Director. If you are interested in performers from a specific discipline or specific performers, please inform us of your interests, for we are committed to making your event as successful and enjoyable as possible. Students and professional performers that have performed at past Perform 4 Purpose Events include:

Perform 4 Purpose Events may be formatted in various ways and tailored to your needs. Many past events have included simply the performances, while others have included dinners and raffles. The specific format of each event will be decided upon by the event committee.
Day of Event:
Specific jobs will be assigned to event committee members for the day of the event. Jobs for the day of the event may include, but are not limited to:
- Setting up the venue
- Selling admission tickets
- Taking donations
- Selling merchandise
- Selling raffle tickets
- Serving food and/or drinks
- Cleaning up during the event
- Cleaning up the venue following the event
Following the Event:
Following the completion of your event, you will receive your grant from Perform 4 Purpose within 7 to 10 business days in the form of a check. Your grant will be determined based on the revenue of your event minus the expenses of your event.
Please Note: Perform 4 Purpose will retain 20% of the amount raised at the event to ensure future Perform 4 Purpose programming.
