Our Mission:
Perform 4 Purpose (P4P) provides local youth opportunities to learn, create, and perform music. P4P provides a social environment that enables participants to experience active roles as student musicians, friends, and mentors. P4P also teaches the importance of helping others and giving back to the community by performing live music events for local charities.
What We Do:
Perform 4 Purpose is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization comprised of student-driven programs, including fundraising events, music mentor clubs, community workshops, live performance workshops, summer camps, and one-to-one lessons. Through these programs, students are able to gain knowledge in specific music disciplines. Performers begin as early as elementary school and continue through high school, giving the older students a chance to learn mentorship skills when working with younger students. Workshops and clubs range in size from 6-15 students. Every student who needs an instrument is given one they can keep or donate back if they choose to help someone new get started. All performers are able to participate in fundraising events throughout the year where P4P organizes or collaborates with other organizations to raise moeny for local charitable needs. All Perform 4 Purpose programs are offered tuition free.
