Why We Support the Arts:
Involvement in the arts can give individuals an opportunity to be involved in an activity that can enhance their development. The arts can provide opportunities for individuals to develop academically and socially. Participation in the arts allows for improved reading ability, growth of a positive self-esteem, and friendships with individuals who share similar interests.
Why We Involve Students:
Students are the driving force of Perform 4 Purpose. Participation by students in the organization not only allows students the opportunity to learn and grow within their discipline, but it also provides them with various outlets and important life lessons. The organization provides all youth with an opportunity to engage in a meaningful activity, which can be especially beneficial to those who would not otherwise have the abilitiy to participate in extracurricular activities. Perform 4 Purpose also teaches students the importance of giving back to those in need within their community.
